During the past year, we have been so lucky to meet some amazing customers many of who I can now call friends.  We are only a small family business and we appreciate all of the business you have given us.  We get loads of new customers who have been recommended by an old customer, and lots of you always come back and buy your feed etc from us.  So we would like to dedicate this page to lots of other local businesses and people who have helped us along the way.

STICKY FINGERS CAKE CREATIONS

 

This is a local business owned and ran by the lovely Karen.  She is a mum to four beautiful boys and lives here in Rugby and of course is the proud owner of chickens. 

Karen makes the most amazing cupcakes and cake pops.  I have personally tasted nearly every flavour of cupcakes these include chocolate, white chocolate, mud pie, mint chocolate, lemon, lemon Meringue and vanilla to name but a few.  Seriously there are loads more Karen can and will make you as she loves trying out new combinations.  Danny loves the coffee cupcakes and always asks for these because when I have cupcakes delivered I always eat them before he gets home and he knows coffee are the only ones I wont eat.

The delivery service is fantastic and I use this lots.  Please find below pictures of cupcakes that I have given to people as thank you's.  Karens cupcakes are THE BEST CUPCAKES EVER  and not only are a great little treat for you, they make a lovely gift as Karen will make you a mixture of favours and they all come in different size boxes with gift tags.  Karen's prices are really reasonable starting from ONLY £1.25

Or how about cake pops, these are a truely fabulous idea they are little balls of cake on a stick.  I had some for Williams Halloween party, and it was so nice to be able just to pop them in party bags as they are all covered instead of messing around putting cake in napkins.  Karen can do so many different designs.  The pics below are of Williams Halloween cakepops.

Karen has also now started to make big cakes and these include anything from Birthday to Wedding cakes although I have not sampled these yet (hint hint).  I know they will be lovely.

BECCY RICHARDS OFSTEAD REGISTERED CHILD MINDER - BILTON RUGBY

I can not speak highly enough about Beccy.  During my last pregnancy I became very very poorly.  I was advised that I needed complete bed rest for weeks on end.  With two small children and a business to run, this was just not possible.  My iron dropped to an all time low and I was so weak that I would struggle to walk up the stairs without feeling like I was going to pass out.  At the time I had William (aged 3)and Harry (aged 6 months)and I knew that I needed help.  Beccy had child minded William previously and he adored her so I knew she was the only person I could turn to. 

 

My iron got even lower and I needed daily iron injections over in Coventry, so after a very tearful chat because I felt so guilty that I was leaving Harry and he was still only tiny baby, he was booked in with Beccy.  She was amazing with him and would send me pictures through out the day of what he was doing.  Throughout his weaning stage he would only ever give him fresh food and would very often make an extra portion when cooking for her own family so he had new things to try.

 

After I got admitted into hospital she started to have William for me, I loved hearing about all the fun places they went to.  They went welly walking, where the older ones splashed in mud.  On sunny days they would do hand and feet painting.  The attended mother and toddler groups and would go on outings to Blooms.  William loved going to the library and used to bring books home so we could read them at home.

 

If you are looking for a childminder you really do not need to look any further she is outstanding, and will love your kids like they are her own.  Whilst following your routines and teaching them manners and how to behave whilst out and about.

TUCKADOO

 

This is ran by Gill.  After having a good look at her website this looks fabulous.  Iam going to speak to Gill an order one of these for Harry as he is a nightmare sleeper.  So I will let you know my thoughts very soon.  They all look super soft and amazing quality tho.

This is what she has to say about her business.  I am a work at home mum, and since March this year, I have been selling our home made bedding – The Tuckadoo. It was initially created to help all of my boys sleep.

Its an unique sleep solution for those little ones who still kick off their covers and wake in the night – our Tuckadoo sets are a handmade duvet cover made with an extra flap of fabric to tuck under the mattress along the wall side of the Cotbed or Single bed – this extra flap ensures the duvet remains on the bed keeping your little muffin warm and contained all night

We also make jingly, taggy skubes for babies to cuddle, and seatbelt snuggle cushions to make car journeys a lot more comfortable.
